Posts
v0.7.0Social, feed-style user posts with likes, tags, boards and mentions
Requires Comments
Install PostsUser-generated social posts with threaded comments, likes and dislikes, hashtags, Pinterest-style groups, media galleries, @mentions, view counts and scheduled publishing via Oban. It is explicitly not a blog or CMS; long-form content belongs in Publishing. Posts, tags, groups, media, mentions, views and reactions are stored in their own tables.
Use it when
- You are building a community or social feed where users post
- Users should collect posts into boards and mention each other
What it gives you
- Posts with draft/public/unlisted/scheduled status
- Likes and dislikes, one per user
- Hashtag parsing with auto-slugified tags
- Groups (boards) with ordering
- Media attachments with featured image; @mentions; view tracking
- Scheduled publishing via Oban; admin pages under /admin/posts
Example
{:ok, post} = PhoenixKitPosts.schedule_post(post, ~U[2026-04-01 12:00:00Z])
