Stats
v0.3.0Collect and chart time-series metrics from external sources over Graphite
Install StatsCreate a stats group per external source (for example a server) in the admin; each group gets its own Barograph database in a single SQLite file and a dedicated Graphite plaintext TCP port that collectors write metric lines to. An admin page charts a chosen metric over a time range with a bucket size and aggregation. Group metadata is stored in phoenix_kit_stats_groups.
Use it when
- You want to chart server or app metrics in your admin without running Graphite or Prometheus
- You have a script or collectd/statsd relay that can send Graphite lines
What it gives you
- Stats groups with their own SQLite-backed Barograph database
- Per-group Graphite plaintext listener on an auto-allocated port
- Graphite 1.1 tag syntax or per-group dot-path templates for labels
- SVG charts with time range, bucket size and aggregation
- No authentication on the collector port: restrict it at the network layer
Example
config :phoenix_kit_stats, data_dir: "/var/data/phoenix_kit_stats"
