Templates Editor
v0.2.0Edit your app's email template files from the email settings page
Requires templates
Install Templates EditorAdds a tab to PhoenixKit's email settings page for editing the host app's phoenix_kit_templates email files, per language, with preview, a variables panel and "send to me". Writing is off unless editable: true is configured (meant for dev), and it lists files not yet committed to git. It owns no database tables, only one setting row.
Use it when
- Developers or editors want to edit and preview email templates in the browser before committing them
- You override PhoenixKit's built-in emails with your own files and want to see what is actually sent
What it gives you
- Per-language template editing with preview and layout selection
- Variables panel with samples and checks on save
- Send-to-me test email, rate-limited and logged
- Refuses saves when the file changed on disk; lists uncommitted files
- Permissions templates_editor and templates_editor.write
- Every change written to the activity log
Example
# config/dev.exs — only where templates are edited
config :phoenix_kit_templates_editor, editable: true
